Membership Applications
Utility Membership Application Process
Become a member of the WAWARN network. There is no fee to join or ongoing charges, and registration allows you to receive preapproved assistance from other members in times of emergency. Additionally, WAWARN is a non-obligatary, voluntary network where no member is required to provide assistance to others. Any assistance agreed to be provided by a member, and received by another member, will be compensated at cost (refer to the Mutual Aid Agreement).
This type of membership is for utilities provioding water or wastewater services in the State of Washington regardless of size.
After you have filled out and submitted this application, you will receive an email which you will need to verify your address by clicking on the link provided in the message. The WAWARN administrator will then "preliminarily approve" your utility membership and you will be sent an email to remind you to execute the Mutual Aid Agreement. This agreement will need to be approved and executed by your governing body, and then countersigned by WAWARN. Once your executed Mutual Aid Agreement is complete, you will become a full utility member.

Registration allows you to receive the latest information from WAWARN, and there is no legal commitment to provide services to our member utilities.
The associate membership is ideal for agencies that support Washington's water sector but do not have water or wastewater customers (i.e, departments of health, environmental and ecological organizations, and special district or governmental associations).
After you have filled out the assiciate membership application, you will receive an email which you will need to verify your address by clicking on the link provided in the message.
